We hope your week has been a great one. We have been battling rain, unseasonably cooler temperatures, and a very high pollen count in our neck of the woods. In other words - Spring in the Northeast! This weekend is a special one for many of us as we celebrate the women we call Mom. (Speaking of calling...don’t forget to do that this Sunday!)

Also, don’t forget to unwind with your family this weekend and take some time to shake off the work week. Weekends are for recharging! Here are some Comfort Links that may help you do just that.

MEDITATION

Have you ever tried meditation? Maybe that looks like quietly reading the paper, a walk around your neighborhood, or a weekend fishing. Sometimes just taking a few moments to center yourself can help your entire week. We dug this handy article from Esquire that shares how to dip your toe into the world of meditating - even if it’s something you’ve never tried or thought to try before.

MEDITATING ON TV

We also get that there is some quality meditating to do with family in front of the TV - especially when the weather has been so chaotic. Every month the streaming services many of us subscribe to release new movies and TV shows. Check out what Netflix just announced for May.

MEDITATE ON THESE ALBUMS

I listen to music in my car on my way to jobs and when I’m making breakfasts on the weekends. I usually end up leaning on the local radio stations to keep me up to date on new music - but sometimes I feel like I’m missing things. We are almost halfway through the year so it makes sense that people are already rounding up lists of best albums of 2016.

MEDITATE AT THE MOVIES

One of the most anticipated movies is coming out this weekend. Check out the parent guide for Captain America Civil War Captain America Civil War and see if it works for you to round up the kids and escape to the cinema. You may earn some bonus points if you leave mom at home. (or she may want to come too!)

Entertainment Weekly has a straight-forward review of Captain America Civil War if you are looking for insight not related to the kids.

Have a great weekend!
